On the other hand, most people don't like classical music, either.<BR/> Anon, please DO find an opera that is not only musically interesting (most aren't; a few are) but has a plot that leaves the audience (ME!) feeling good! Of course there HAS to be bad guys, but when the good guys win, or the guy and girl find each other, well, then I'm happy. (Gilbert and Sullivan are great because they're clever, funny and have sing-along tunes.) ...And thanks for the compliments!Northern Lighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15969094667907320393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1219039592451741506.post-18756110778421393852008-03-03T05:30:00.000-08:002008-03-03T05:30:00.000-08:00mink's right.... not ALL are about dying...or the ...mink's right.... not ALL are about dying...or the good guys dying... don giovanni ROCKS (mozart)... now he dies, but he's the "bad" guy, and, ok ...he kills one good guy in the beginning...,mmmmmm ...i'll try to find you one that would have all the positives you like and none of the negatives!! : ) tee hee... Mozart's operas aren't all about death........Hmmmm. Mozart's operas aren't all about death..... so I think the death of opera probably has more to do with the death of classical music in general... What a lovely diva-lady. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
